Dear All,

It gives me ENORMOUS pleasure in informing you all, that the Panorama Pool Villas development is now:

cableless – wireless – lineless and poleless!!!

If there are any readers of this bulletin that are totally ‘clueless’ as to the reasons for our jubilation – then I am ‘speechless’.

They are gone! They are no more! They are deceased! They have expired!*

I am of course, referring to the overhead power lines - they have disappeared, along with the poles!

It has taken some time to fulfil the dream of not having cables strung across the horizon and obstructing our wonderful views.

Despite frustrating bureaucrats, seemingly endless red tape, and efforts by the ‘Preservation of Cables Worldwide Organisation’ to stop us, not to mention global warming and the FIFA World Cup 2010, we eventually had them (the cables) removed. (… a bit like England’s World Cup football team really - unappealing, useless, overrated, and subsequently, justifiably ousted).

Before you ask: YES! Of course there is an underground electrical supply to replace it.

Seeing is believing.

Indeed, seeing IS believing. I see the progress of our new show houses every day – however, you do not. So, I decided to take some photographs so that you too - can believe.

I am told (but then I am told many things) that the Nature 2 Show House will be finished by the end of June. (That’s June of this year for you cynics.)

I, like many of you, (sixteen to be precise) are really looking forward to all 3 of the Show Houses being completed and when they are finished, I shall be writing to all sixteen of you so that you can come and have a look at the Real Thing. Thank you for your patience thus far and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Just a recap: the Nature 3 is our 2-bedroomed baby of 200 square metres, the Nature 2 is 3-bedroomed with 217 square metres and the Nature 3 is also 3-bedroomed with 243 square metres total living area. Prices are as per the price list found here.

Do not forget that we will fully furnish (fitted furniture is included in the price) the villas at COST PRICE.

How?

We buy directly from the factory and pass on that saving to you.

I should not need to point out that the views from the Nature 1 Show House are exceptionally outstanding and the view across the top of the beautifully gardened Club House is indeed a joy to behold.

PANORAMA’S NEW WEBSITE

Welcome to the new look Panorama website. Do you like it?

Personally, I do, not just because I had an input into the different theme but primarily because the old website looked dreary - informative but dreary. The new one looks refreshing, appealing to the eye; more colourful and more tropical methinks. Rather befitting of the The Panorama Pool Villas.

What are your thoughts?

1. The old one was alright - don’t know why you bothered.

2. I miss the panning panoramic view on the home page.

3. I enjoyed spending an eternity scrolling through the information to find what I was looking for.

4. I much prefer dank dusty dreary sites.

5. The new one is FAB!

6. I had so much fun trying to find all the information I thought I already knew the location of.

7. The new one is SUPER and my congratulations to the GM for his supreme efforts.

8. I hope that the villa prices have not increased to cover the cost of the new website.

9. I don’t give a d_ _ _ what your b_ _ _ _ _ website looks like - just reduce the price of the villas.

10. We love your website and that handsome hunk of a GM. (Secretary of the Panorama Fan Club).

NATURE 3 PROMOTION - 24-MONTH PAYMENT TERM

Dear All,

We have had several enquiries regarding our Nature 3 Promotion and most enquirers have additionally asked if we provide competitive payment terms and/or offer finance.

Whilst we do not, as a developer, offer finance, we have devised what we believe to be a ground-breaking payment plan over 24 months that is interest free. This 24-month payment plan may be applicable to all villa sales. (Please ask for details.)

Is the payment plan set in stone?

Not necessarily. If you have an alternative proposition - then by all means propose it.

Hua Hin hath no snow!

Dear All,

We narrowly missed having severe snow blizzards here in Hua Hin and we feel very fortunate that the temperature did not fall below 19C/66F degrees. (… and that was not considering the wind-chill factor.) How I managed to keep warm without central heating and my Barbour is beyond me.

Now the temperature is a very comfortable 32C/90F thank you, and the threat of the cold spell continuing, seems to have lessened.

How has the weather been where you live?

A big ‘Thank you’ to Erich and Ursula for the photo. I felt ‘chilled to the bone’ just looking at it.

Moving swiftly on; and starting with an apology for not having posted a newsletter earlier, I am pleased to write that we are busy.

The definition of busy in this instance, means that we now have an additional five villas under construction plus one of the distressed sales being bought. So, that’s six in total.

This is keeping everyone busy and I am no exception insomuch that every new villa owner wants to have their own personal touch to their villas which requires that modifications to plans are necessary.

Yes, we don’t just build a house with a ‘like it or leave it’ attitude, we actually encourage owners to have their own input of ideas, thus the villa becomes their ‘home’.

Look at the photographs below to see the progress on the plots that, a few weeks ago, were empty. Try to spot the ‘U’ shaped concrete structures. They house the villa’s electricity and water meters, and telephone connection point. Virtually all have been completed which means that, in a very short space of time, the electric cables will go underground.

Eureka!

I know that this is Panorama and not Syracuse, however, the joy and excitement that I will experience when the cables go underground will be enough for me to run naked around the development.
